First bout July 7
On Saturday July 7th at the Okanogan County Fairgrounds Agriplex. the Methow Valley roller girls will introduce the sport of roller derby to Okanogan County according to ‘Brass Chuckles’ - that would be Rose Weagant Norton, the league president. The Western Region’s 10th ranked derby team, the Jet City Bombers, will be visiting from Everett to help, she said.
This is the first bout being hosted by the Methow Valley Roller Derby League.
Doors open at 6:30pm, and the bout starts at 7:00 PM.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Advance tickets sales are available online at brownpapertickets.com and at retail locations throughout Okanogan County.
